Toxic Drug Combinationss

An Energy Medicine Short Summary

Did you know that common drugs should not be combined with specific medications because of adverse reactions?

If you are taking polypharmacy, you should consult with your pharmacist or better yet consult with a compounding pharmacist to check if your medications are compatible with each other. Most doctors have no clue of the contraindications between drugs. Checking your drugs for safety may save your life.

The following six common drugs should not be taken with specific medications:

Viagra must not be taken with because the combination of the two can cause severe hypotension.

Warfarin is a blood thinner and must not be taken with Phenylbutazone, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug for pain.

Digoxin is used to treat heart failure and must not be taken with Verapamil, which will elevate digoxin levels.

Amiodarone treats arrhythmias such as ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia and must not be taken with the statin drug, Simvastatin because it can cause Rhabdomyolysis, which is the breakdown of skeletal muscles.

Carbamazepine is an anti seizure medication and must not be taken with Itraconazole, which is an antifungal medication.

Tamoxifen is an antiestrogen chemotherapy agent used to treat breast cancer and must not be taken with Paroxetine, which is an antidepressant, anti anxiety, and used to treat obsessive compulsive behavior and should not be taken with tamoxifen because it will lower the effectiveness of tamoxifen.
